My work here at the WGNHS aims to understanding key geologic features and how they may impact our lives today. Generally, this involves detailed geologic mapping across the state to support natural resource decision making. However, this work can span several geologic sub-fields depending on our research questions. As an example, one of my active projects involves understanding how bedrock geology, glacial geology, and geologic structures such as faults interact and promote or hinder groundwater flow through an area.
