I joined the Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey (WGNHS) as a cartographer and geographic information system (GIS) specialist in June 2021. I work with our geologic and hydrologic specialists to present their work in a clear and engaging way to the public. I also help prepare digital products that support their work, making them available to a wider audience. I love my job because, through cartography, I get to combine science, art, and storytelling in a way that matters.
