As assistant director for technical operations, I coordinate the Survey’s geographic information systems (GIS), information technology, and sample and data management. I also keep our computer systems running.

I’ve worked at the Survey since 2004 as a GIS specialist, GIS coordinator, and information manager. I became the assistant director in 2018. In addition to data integration efforts, I also coordinate database and web application development. Before joining WGNHS, I worked for 5 years as a hydrogeologist and GIS analyst in the environmental consulting industry.
