Dyscrasite as a rare mineral found with other silver minerals in hydrothermal deposits.

ONEIDA COUNTY: Dyscrasite occurs with silver, gold, pyrargyrite, acanthite, galena, sphalerite and chalcopyrite in the Lynn massive sulfide deposits (Kennedy et al., 1991).
